Duties include:

• Working as part of team to ensure freight orders are properly routed / dispatched, and delivered by drivers._
• Use of company software programs to manage daily activities of drivers.__
• Ability to problem solve freight related obstacles, including geographical issues, weight and volume issues, driver management, etc.__
• Ability to negotiate service levels with carriers, customers, and drivers_

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience routing in the Transportation / Logistics field._
• Strong problem-solving skills.__
• MSOffice required.__
• Communicate positively in person, over the phone, and in electronic communications.__
• Manage multi-tasking and flexibility._

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy environment_
• Experience routing in the Transportation/Logistics industry__
• Work experience in Air Freight a plus.__
• Knowledge of NE Ohio area.__
• Good business decision-making skills__
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills__
• Great customer service skills__
• Ability to multi-task and work with/lead other team members_
