Trump tariffs taking toll on trucking industry: Truckers in Mifflin, Pennsylvania to stand behind President the firsthand impact of tariffs. Thousands of truck drivers have lost their jobs this year behind the slowdown in the 800 billion industry. Things are a little murky because some drivers are reporting good earning for the year.
