Hurricanes

Hurricane is a violent wind, in particular a tropical cyclone in the Caribbean with a wind of force 12 on the Beaufort scale (equal to or exceeding 64 knots or 74 miles per hour).

My heart goes out to everyone in the path of Hurricane Dorian’s devastation.  In my military travels, I’ve lived through many hurricanes, and one in specific that affected the family, community, an island, territory of the United States of America, Puerto Rico.  By living through hurricanes I’ve seen building, and re-building of both countries and communities forming lines awaiting support from FEMA,

There are many available sources that remains prepared through when emergencies arise. The  Federal Emergency Management Agency  (FEMA) has Disaster Recovery Centers at FEMA.gov and http://www.fema.gov/disaster-recovery-centers available before crisis level. Centers for Domestic Preparedness Training the Best for he Worst Find Training,  FEMA’s Premier All-Hazards Training Center Training for Emergency Preparedness can be found at http://cdp.dha.gov or contact them:
